I’ve been capturing images of Goths on the streets of Whitby for many years, and the culmination of this effort is the recent publication of a hand-
made volume called 'Gotika'. The book is a limited edition, signed and numbered, with a foreword by Sir Christoper Frayling. Professor Frayling is
probably one of the most wide-ranging cultural historians of our times, a man of many achievements and the author of publications too numerous to
mention. One of these is the seminal 'Vampyres' through which many Goths will know his work. 'Gotika' is also the title of an exhibition of my work
which will be held in Whitby's Pannett Art Gallery from 11 October 2025 to 23 November 2025. The exhibition covers all three days of the Autumn
Gathering which is 31 October 2025 to 2 November 2025.
Gotika 2025 - Book and Exhibition
The photographs were hand printed by me on archival matte paper using pigment inks and are hand mounted in album corners,
allowing them to be removed for separate display if required. Each book is signed and numbered by me, and only available in a
limited edition of one hundred, with five artist’s proofs, which are not for sale. The price of the main edition is £45 plus £8 p&p.
